Lovely sketches and thought provoking articles Mr. Bhaduri. I was and still am an avid RD fan, grew up consuming each article and jokes, synonyms and what not! A question to you, how can an HR professional like me (18 yrs plus), contribute as a freelancer? The thought is tempting to try out newer avenues. Thanks. Arpita
Arpita - see that RD comment suddenly brought up the generational divide ... You say RD and mean Reader's Digest. I think RD is RD Burman first. But yes, either way, RD is timeless. About the freelancer bit, there are loads of opportunities. Drop me a mail and let me find out what you could try. Thanks for your note
Hi Abhijit, I can't remember a time when we did not have an RD lying around. And yes most issues are still intact, arranged chronologically of course for easy reference! As a kid, I used to love the stories, the Humour, and the word power section. My parents would regularly get the additional books that RD would recommend. Its still the best!
Kirthana, I loved Reader's Digest. It was such an honor to be asked to write for it. I used start the magazine from the Humor in Uniform column. And then the rest :)
Yet another good read for me this week. Regarding our inclination towards RD, two of us are on the same page. However, I started enjoying it at a much later stage, when I was around 17. Earlier, reading anything was sheer boredom to me.
Your Adobe talk was also insightful, both in terms of content as well as the quality of graphics you've used for the slides. I very much agree with the fact that Experience Makers are required for making any business successful nowadays.

Hello Mr. Bhaduri,
Yet another good read for me this week. Regarding our inclination towards RD, two of us are on the same page. However, I started enjoying it at a much later stage, when I was around 17. Earlier, reading anything was sheer boredom to me.

Thanks very much for this newsletter,
Pratyush :)
Thanks a lot Pratyush
Glad you liked it. I do believe Experience Makers will be the ones who will lead.
